Spain ratifies the Rotterdam Rules / by Blas de Lezo
Spain has become the first country to ratify the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Carriage of Goods Wholly or Partly by Sea, known as the “Rotterdam Rules”.
Our Managing Partner, Miquel Roca, was appointed Plenipotentiary of the kingdom of Spain to sign the Convention on behalf of Spain.
It is remarkable that Spain has been the first country to ratify the Convention, given the implication of the Spanish elegation in the Working Group sessions.
Contact Miquel Roca and Blas de Lezo for further information in relation to the Rotterdam Rules and the new legal regime to come.
